Resmed Astral 100 Portable Ventilator with humidifier makes the personalized ventilation easy. It has ResMed's unique volume-assurance mode, iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support). Patient's unique alveolar ventilation is learnt by iVAPS and thereby sets appropriate targets then provides smooth pressure support to suit.
The device is facilitated with intelligent backup rate (iBR) which provides the patients maximum opportunity to trigger the ventilator. Upper airway latency is maintained by AutoEPAP by means of auto-adjusting the expiratory pressure in response to partial and full obstructions. In the presence of significant leak VSync offers excellent patient-ventilator synchrony. Spontaneous breathing is encouraged by TiControl™ setting minimum and maximum limits on either side of the patient's ideal inspiratory time. According to the patient's condition, trigger and cycle helps to optimize settings using five trigger and cycle sensitivity levels. QuickNav is used for low-touch therapy adjustment.
